Statement Of Diversity

Carriage House Day Care is committed to incorporating and celebrating diversity in our program. One of the most important things we do in our work with children and families, is to encourage the recognition and acceptance of each individual’s uniqueness. Our enrollment is available to special needs children whose inclusion enriches our program in many ways. We encourage all families to share various aspects of their cultural heritage as part of our program. For example, families are invited to share stories, songs, and recipes of their culture. This type of activity strengthens the link between a child’s home and school and encourages acceptance of differences.
